Founded by gamers, for gamers, One Drop was born out of a passion for strategy, storytelling, and community. What started as a few friends gathering around a table has grown into Wichita’s hub for tabletop fun, epic pulls, and unforgettable game nights.
At One Drop, we create a welcoming space for players of all levels to learn, play, and compete. We encourage you to challenge yourself, enjoy the game, and connect with other players. From your first match to your hundredth, there’s always a seat at the table.
Dale is the owner and friendly face of One Drop Game Shop. He launched One Drop in February 2022 after noticing a lack of in-person gaming spaces post-pandemic. A lifelong fan of all things gaming, Dale loves playing, teaching, learning, and even just chatting about games of all kinds.
Assistant Manager
Nat is One Drop’s Assistant Manager and also runs our social media accounts. They began playing Magic: The Gathering in 2023 with their spouse, and it quickly became a staple in their home. Nat loves aggressive decks with big creatures, which draws them to formats like Commander, Standard, and Modern. They especially enjoy delving into Magic’s lore and card art. Outside of Magic, you’ll find Nat playing Flesh and Blood or playing PC games.

Known affectionately as “Encyclo-Fi-dia,” Fiona is our resident Magic expert and runs the One Drop TCGPlayer online store. She’s been playing Magic since 2001 and knows the game inside and out. Fiona also enjoys deck-building board games like Clank! and Dominion, and has recently taken up woodworking in her spare time.

Ethan is a certified Level 1 Magic: The Gathering Judge and a true jack-of-all-trades when it comes to Magic formats. He’s been playing since 2012 and has stuck with it ever since. Outside of Magic, Ethan has tried just about every trading card game we carry. Whether you need a rule clarified or a game recommendation, Ethan’s your guy.

Jeremy is One Drop’s budget Commander connoisseur and a proud lover of “bad” Magic cards. His creative, outside-the-box decks are always full of surprises. If you sit down at a table with him, you probably won’t recognize half the cards, but you’ll definitely remember them. Jeremy’s been playing since early 1994 and he swears he hasn’t gotten any better since!

Connor started playing Magic: The Gathering in late 2023, diving in with The Lost Caverns of Ixalan as his first set. He quickly gravitated toward EDH and cEDH, and has a soft spot for Esper and artifact-themed decks. Connor is excited to keep exploring new formats and has his sights set on winning a major tournament in the future.

Jordan has been playing Magic: The Gathering for 14 years and still finds something new to learn every day. He’s a big fan of Modern and Commander, but more than anything, he loves casting big, wild spells, no matter how he gets there.

John is a semi-pro Magic player with 13 Top 8 finishes in Regional Championship Qualifiers and one 1st-place win. Outside of TCGs, John’s a competitive gamer in titles like Super Smash Bros., and he’s currently studying for an Associate of Applied Science in Unmanned Aircraft Systems at WSU Tech.
